The NCR is now offering a private birthday party package featuring a 1-hour excursion to Glen Rock, PA which allows party guests the opportunity to socialize and learn about the history of the Northern Central Railway as well as the history of the towns we pass along the way.

Our standard Birthday Party Package includes:

• The private use of the Anderson coach
• Socially distanced seating for up to 15 passengers
• 1-hour excursion from New Freedom to Glen Rock and back
• Group photo opportunity
• An engineer hat, coloring book, birthday card, and balloon for the birthday child

Party Add-on Options

Want to make your birthday party even more memorable for your train enthusiast birthday child? Our Junior Engineer Party Package includes a special 20 to 25 minute opportunity before or after the excursion for your birthday child to meet the engineer and crew, and get a special tour of the Steam Engine and Diesel engine cab. Our Junior Engineer Party Package can be added to your party celebration for an additional $50.

2021 Birthday Party Availability

The Northern Central Railway Birthday Party Package is available all season long during any regular excursion to Glen Rock. Please note that food and drinks are not allowed on the train.
