Ride Time(s): 2:30

May 24, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Enjoy a scenic ride through the beautiful countryside of York County to Glen Rock, PA, on a historic railway that dates back to the late 1820s. Ride along with a 1959 PA GP 9 at the only place in the world where an original Pennsylvania railroad locomotive runs on a genuine Pennsylvania rail line . The EMD GP9 is a four-axle road switcher diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors’ Electro-Motive Division for the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1959 and it is powered by a sixteen-cylinder engine which generates 1,750 horsepower.

The coaches are pushed and pulled by the vintage diesel engine.

This excursion is one hour.

Tickets will be available to be picked up at the ticket booth in the back of the gift shop on the day of the trip.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.

Learn about each of our coaches here.
