Oct 5, 2017Ride Time(s):
October 5, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Living historian James Hayney will have you believing you are seeing the real Abraham Lincoln. His presentation is engaging and so real. While at Hanover Junction listen to the Gettysburg Address as Mr. Lincoln may have had it prepared while waiting for Governor Curtin on his way to Gettysburg.
Outside your window is the beautiful York County Heritage Rail Trail, while you enjoy this 2 1/2-hour ride to Hanover Junction. We will take you back in time to the 1860s, when President Lincoln rode these tracks on his way to Gettysburg to deliver his now-famous Gettysburg Address. Enjoy the scenic countryside and visit the Hanover Junction Museum on the stopover. ALL ABOARD!
The cars are pulled and pushed by the steam locomotive.
