Jul 1, 2017Ride Time(s):
July 1, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Outside your window is the beautiful York County Heritage Rail Trail, while you enjoy The Susquehanna Travellers on this 2 1/2-hour ride to Hanover Junction. We will take you back in time to the 1860s, when President Lincoln rode these tracks on his way to Gettysburg to deliver his now-famous Gettysburg Address. Enjoy the scenic countryside and visit the Hanover Junction Museum on the stopover. ALL ABOARD!
The Susquehanna Travellers have been playing traditional Nineteenth Century music for more than a decade, with a focus on the Civil War era and Irish music. The musicians are also Civil War re-enactors and are members of the 87th Volunteer Infantry.
This is a Steam Ride.
