Christmas in July with The Susquehanna Travellers and the Man in Red on the Glen Rock Express and No. 17
Jul 2, 2017Ride Time(s):
July 2, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Christmas Holiday tickets are now on sale for the 2017 season with our Christmas in July ride. The man in red will take a break from the cold weather at the North Pole and will take a ride on No. 17 to Glen Rock.
Outside your window is the beautiful York County Heritage Rail Trail, while you enjoy The Susquehanna Travellers on this one-hour ride to Glen Rock, PA. We will take you back in time to the 1860s, when President Lincoln rode the same line on his way to Gettysburg to deliver his now-famous Gettysburg Address. ALL ABOARD!
The Susquehanna Travellers have been playing traditional Nineteenth Century music for more than a decade, with a focus on the Civil War era and Irish music. The musicians are also Civil War re-enactors and are members of the 87th Volunteer Infantry.
This is a Steam Ride.
