Climb aboard the Reading Express! Enjoy the scenery of the Heritage Rail Trail County Park as you listen to a story read by our special guest, Jeanne Moran. She will be reading from her book Mikey and the Swamp Monster. You can pick up your own copy of the book and get it signed by the author!

It’s a Teddy Bear Picnic! Grab your favorite plush pal and pack your picnic blanket for this scenic ride to Glen Rock PA. On the way back, we will stop for 1 hour at Railroad Park for food and fun. Music for you and your teddy to dance to will be provided by the Part-Time Managers.

Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets!

A hot dog and bottled water are included in the price of your ticket.

What’s better than a campfire, good music, and catching fireflies on a summer evening? This evening excursion to Glen Rock, PA will stop for 1 ½ hour at Railroad Park for a campfire (weather permitting) where you can roast marshmallows for s’mores and listen to music from the Part-Time Managers. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets.

Your ticket includes the train ride, entertainment, campfire, and 2 s’mores. Railroad Park and campfire are not wheelchair accessible.

If you are still waiting for your owl to arrive, we have a ticket for all you witches, wizards, and muggles! Embark on a magical journey aboard our authentic replica steam locomotive to Glen Rock and back. A very stern potions professor will perform magic right before your eyes. Head to Freedom Green for magical games, crafts, and activities.
