Northern Central Railway is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational, charitable organization, located in New Freedom, PA. The historic attraction, with a replica 1860s steam locomotive and a GP9 diesel engine, hosts excursions that educate, entertain and enlighten.

Northern Central Railway is an excursion railroad that makes time travel possible! It’s an authentic experience where you can meet presidents and generals, experience the Wild West, enjoy the spirit of the season any time of year and literally ride along the very rails that helped build and save our nation!
