Great time in the snow, with Santa and sing along Christmas carols. Kids dancing on the train, adults singing and watching the beautiful snowy countryside roll by! Enjoyable hr making this Christmas memory. The train was heated and spacious. The station is clean and has cute gifts if you want to shop. We will come back another time for another ride!

Exactly what we expected, my 9-year-old wanted train tickets for his birthday... we went, the train sang Happy Birthday to him, he loved the ride! At the end, they let him up to see the engine. We were all very pleased and the birthday boy loved the experience! Thank you!

Really fun, informative and inexpensive way to spend a pleasant time in New Freedom. The train was spotless and staffed by friendly and knowledgeable folks who made sure we had a great time. The history of the area was well covered and presented in an interesting way.

We had a very enjoyable time on the Steam Locomotive theme trip entitled “Wild West Express featuring The James Younger Gang”. The actors were very personable and made the trip a lot of fun for kids of all ages. Of course, it was great to ride on the Steam Engine Train as well although the day was rainy. The gunfight between the “gang” and the “posse” was a highlight of the trip. Would go back for other theme trips and definitely the trips to see the fall foliage.
