Travel to Railroad, PA, and back on a former Pennsylvania Railroad mainline that has been in operation since 1838. Your ride follows the route of the original Northern Central Railroad through the scenic Heritage Rail Trail County Park. Learn about the history of the towns and villages you pass along the way. As we head south, the train will stop at Railroad Borough Park where you can disembark the train to the fall festivities of picking a pumpkin and a free fall craft for kids. Pumpkins are donated by Smyser’s Farm in York, PA.
